Just another look at engines this month.  Promise to have something more interesting in August . 

 

         The Kelowna Pacific Railway runs from Kamloops to Kelowna over a 104 mile route that takes it through Armstrong and Vernon.  It shares 26 miles of CP track and connects to CN at their yard in Kamloops.  See a better photo at http://www.trainweb.org/rosters/KPR2643.html 

         The only reason I took this photo is because of the paint job.  At the time I was trying to come up with a custom scheme for a friend who had a pair of undecorated GP9’s. They turned out real nice too.  I think everyone should have at least one shortline engine on his layout.  Particularly if they’re modeling a current situation
